If you are working out and something hurts or just does not feel right always STOP and adjust your workout accordingly. Also, if you feel overly tired and feel like you need a break...then take one.
Classic signs of overtraining are being tired, not being able to sleep, irritability weight loss and weight gain. If you have any of these symptoms you probably should change up your training program.
