In my massage sessions I work with each client keeping in mind the whole person as I incorporate the many modalities that I have learned. These include Swedish Massage to soothe and wring out muscle tension, Polarity Therapy to balance and renew the life force. Trager to shake and rock out stagnant energy areas and return ease to the whole system. And to increase this relaxation I add Craniosacral to manipulate the deep currents of the cerebral spinal fluid and reset the system to restore healthy functioning. Each year I continue my studies of massage adding new knowledge and modalities to my practice.

The combination of these techniques helps to improve circulation, flexibility, range of motion, and increase the fullness of breath while relaxing the nervous system, and diminishing pain.

To more fully understand this interplay of mind, body and spirit I have I delved into Shadow Work, Voice Dialogue, and Family Constellation Processes. As the mind heals, the body heals and as tension is released, the spirit is uplifted. My intention is to hold an open space of acceptance through which the highest healing can take place, be it deep relaxation or energetic revitalization.

MASSAGE MODALITIES

SWEDISH: A traditional massage with an application of essential oils and a variety of strokes and kneading of the muscles to increase circulation and relaxation.

POLARITY THERAPY: Stimulation of specific points and reflex areas of the body to open energetic pathways relieving pain and balancing the system.

TRAGER: Rocking and shaking motions of muscles and joints to relieve chronic tension and rigidity, leaving the body feeling deeply relaxed and light.

CRANIOSACRAL: Gentle manipulation of the cranium and sacrum to enhance the tide-like flow of the cerebral spinal fluid and increase the optimal functioning of the central nervous system.
